Ciseaux Montreal: the right salon, the right hands

Ciseaux Montreal connects Montréal hair and barber salons with hairstylists, barbers and colourists. Last-minute cover, chair rentals and permanent jobs: salons and professionals find each other by neighbourhood and metro station, in Montréal, Laval, the South Shore and the North Shore.

For salons

  • Post in 60 seconds: shift cover, chair rental or job, with date, hours, specialties and rate. The site suggests the neighbourhood's average rate.
  • Receive matching applications: the best-matching professionals are notified. In Urgent mode, the 30 best matches also get a text message.
  • Confirm and pay online, with a clear invoice showing GST and QST.

Salon plans are described on the pricing page and the for salons page.

For hair professionals

  • A free profile: trades, specialties, neighbourhoods, availability and photos of your work. Sign-up, profile, applications and messaging are free for professionals.
  • Offers near you, with a match score and the estimated travel time from your neighbourhood.
  • Guaranteed payment: for a shift booked on the site, payment is sent 48 hours after the shift.

Everything is explained on the for stylists page.

Good to know

Ciseaux Montreal is an intermediary: it is not the employer of the professionals who sign up. The site is French first, and in English too. An Android app complements the site.

Details are in the Ciseaux Montreal privacy policy and terms of use. Ciseaux Montreal is a TeoZapps app, a brand of Cap Commun (Montréal).
