Delete your account and your data

Use this page to ask for the deletion of your account and data in a TeoZapps app. TeoZapps is a brand of Cap Commun (Montréal, Québec), the developer of Ciseaux Montreal, Neo-Frais, CapTap and MaDose. You do not need to have the app installed.

How it works

  1. You fill in the form: the app, the email address of your account and what you want deleted.
  2. We write to you at that address. You reply from the same address to confirm the request really comes from you. We will never ask for your password.
  3. We delete your account and your data within 30 days of your confirmation.
  4. You receive an email confirming the deletion and stating what the law requires us to keep.

One request per app. We answer by email, usually within a few days.

What is deleted and what is kept

For each app: what deletion erases, and what we must keep, for how long and why. The developer of all these apps is Cap Commun (TeoZapps).

Ciseaux Montreal

Android app and ciseauxmontreal.ca website: the marketplace that connects clients, salons and hairdressers in Montréal.

Fastest: in the app, open Settings → Delete my account. Use this form if you no longer have the app or can no longer access your account.

Deleted

  • your account and your profile (name, email, phone, photo);
  • your portfolio photos;
  • your service offers and your availability;
  • your messages;
  • the reviews you wrote are anonymized: your name and photo are removed from them;
  • the notification tokens of your devices.

Kept

  • invoices and payment records, which tax laws require us to keep for 6 years. They are kept without the rest of your account's information, then destroyed;
  • Stripe and Google Play, which process payments, keep their own transaction records under their own policies.

ID documents sent to verify a profile are never kept: they are already deleted as soon as the verification is done.

Neo-Frais

Expense management for nonprofits (neo-frais.com and Android app). Your account is part of the space of the organization that invited you.

Deleted

  • your user account: name, email, role, preferences and access to the organization's space;
  • your sign-in sessions and the notification tokens of your devices.

Kept

  • the reimbursement claims, receipts and approvals you submitted are part of the organization's accounting records. The organization is responsible for them: it may have to keep them for the time required by law (usually 6 years), with your name;
  • if you delete the space of a client organization: the Neo-Frais subscription invoices, kept 6 years (tax laws).

We let your organization's administrator know about the request, since your account is part of its space. To delete an organization's whole space, the request must come from a person authorized to represent it; we can first give you a copy of your data.

CapTap

NFC digital business cards linked to a web profile (cap-tap.com).

Deleted

  • your account and your public profile (name, title, contact details, photo and links): the profile address stops working;
  • the link between your NFC cards and your profile: a tapped card no longer shows your information.

Kept

  • invoices and payment records of your purchases, which tax laws require us to keep for 6 years;
  • the payment service used for the purchase keeps its own transaction records under its own policy.

Deletion within 30 days of the confirmation.

MaDose

Android app for pill reminders and stock tracking.

No account: everything is on your phone

  • MaDose has no account and collects no data: everything you enter stays on your phone. Cap Commun therefore has nothing to delete on its side.
  • To erase everything, uninstall the app, or open Settings → Apps → MaDose → Storage → Clear data.
  • An encrypted backup you exported stays where you saved it: delete that file yourself.

Kept

  • Premium purchases are handled by Google Play. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription: cancel it in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions);
  • Google sends us some transaction information (order number, date, amount, country), which we keep 6 years for our tax obligations. It is not linked to any content of the app.

Other app

For another TeoZapps or Cap Commun app, choose "Other app" in the form and give its name. The same rules apply: the account and the data are deleted within 30 days of the confirmation; only the information the law requires us to keep (such as invoices, 6 years) is kept.

In every case

  • We never ask for your password.
  • Technical backup copies are erased automatically as they are replaced, at the latest 90 days after the deletion.
  • Your request and our exchanges about it are kept for at most 12 months, as proof that the request was handled, then deleted.
  • You can also ask to access or correct your information, and file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
