MaDose: pill reminders with no account and no data collection

MaDose reminds you to take your pills (supplements or medication) and warns you when it is time to refill the bottle. Everything stays on your phone: no account, no medication names, no ads.

What MaDose does

  • On-time reminders, up to eight times a day for each item, even when the phone is asleep.
  • Stock tracking: each dose you log removes one pill, and an alert warns you below the threshold you choose.
  • Taken or skipped: log each dose from the notification or the Today screen; yesterday's doses can still be confirmed the next day.
  • History: a calendar shows complete, partial and missed days.
  • Recognition without names: a colour, an icon, an optional nickname and, if you wish, a photo of the pill.

Free and Premium

The free version tracks up to three items. Premium is a one-time purchase (not a subscription), made through Google Play. It removes the limit and adds:

  • follow-up reminders for unconfirmed doses, after the delay you choose;
  • an encrypted backup of your setup in a file, so you can restore it on a new phone.

Your privacy first

MaDose was built on the Privacy by Design principle:

  • no account, no email address, no phone number;
  • no medication names asked;
  • no data sent over the Internet, no automatic cloud backup;
  • no ads, no analytics, no tracking;
  • on the lock screen, notifications only say "You have a reminder".

The details are in the MaDose privacy policy.
