1. Acceptance
By using this website or asking to become a tester, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the website and do not sign up for the testing program.
2. The teozapps.com website
The website presents TeoZapps apps and services. Its content is provided as general information. Texts about nonprofit management or Québec's Law 25 are not legal, accounting or professional advice. We do our best to keep it accurate and up to date, without guaranteeing it.
Links to other websites are provided for your convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
3. The testing program
The program lets you try an Android app before its public release, or a new version before it is rolled out. To take part, you must:
- have an Android phone and a Google account;
- provide accurate information, including the email address of your Google account;
- meet the minimum age set by the chosen app, if any.
Taking part is free and voluntary. It gives no right to any payment. We may accept or decline a request, limit the number of testers, remove a tester or end a test at any time, without having to justify our decision. You may leave the test whenever you want.
4. Google Play
Test versions are distributed through Google Play. Your email address is added to the app's list of testers in Google's console, then you accept the invitation yourself. Installation, updates and any purchases or refunds go through Google and are governed by the Google Play terms of service.
5. A test version may be unstable
A test version is not finished. It may contain errors, behave unexpectedly, change or disappear without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- do not rely on a test version for an essential task, and keep another way of doing what you need;
- data entered in a test version may be lost or erased at the end of the test;
- a test version is provided as is, with no guarantee of operation, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Your feedback
Your comments, suggestions and bug reports help us improve the apps. By sending them, you allow us to use them freely to improve our products, with no obligation to you. Do not send confidential information or personal information about other people in your feedback.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, modify, decompile, resell or distribute the apps or their test versions, not to circumvent their security or purchase mechanisms, and not to use the website or the apps in a way that is illegal or harms other people.
8. Intellectual property
The website, the apps, their names, logos, code and content belong to Cap Commun or its partners. These terms transfer no ownership to you; they only give you the personal, non-transferable right to use the website and, if you are accepted as a tester, the test version of the chosen app.
9. Privacy
The information given in the form (first name, last name, email, chosen app) is only used to sign you up for the test and to communicate with you about it. It is handled under Cap Commun's privacy policy (in French). What each app does with your information is described in its own privacy policy, which the form asks you to accept.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cap Commun is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the website or of a test version, including loss of data or interruption of an activity.
Nothing in these terms is meant to exclude or limit a liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, or to deprive you of the rights granted by Québec's Consumer Protection Act or another applicable law.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. The new version is published on this page with its effective date. If the change is significant and you are signed up for a test, we will let you know by email.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the laws of Canada that apply there. Subject to the rights the law grants you, including the right to go to the court of your place of residence, the courts of the judicial district of Montréal have jurisdiction.
13. Language
These terms are written in French. This English translation is provided for your convenience; if the two versions differ, the French version prevails.
